Miami-Florida center Reggie Johnson will not be available for the Hurricanes' Sweet 16 game against Marquette on Thursday as he recovers from an injury he sustained during the team's third- round win over Illinois.

Johnson, a 6-foot-10 senior, did not travel with the team to Washington D.C. on Tuesday with what the team is calling a "lower extremity injury."

Johnson totaled seven points and 15 rebounds over Miami's first two NCAA Tournament games and could be available if the Hurricanes make it to the Final Four.

Over 26 games for Miami this season, Johnson is averaging 6.7 points and 4.8 rebounds per contest.
