Raleigh, NC – The Carolina Hurricanes have agreed to terms with forward Nathan Gerbe on a one-year, two-way contract.
Gerbe had five goals and five assists in 42 games with the Buffalo Sabres last season.
Originally selected by the Sabres in the fifth round of the 2005 draft, Gerbe has 29 goals and 43 assists in 188 career NHL games, all with Buffalo. In nine playoff games, Gerbe has three goals and one assist.
