LUBBOCK, Texas – Brad Reese scored 21 points and Jaye Crockett had a double-double to lead Texas Tech to a 79-60 victory over Delaware State on Tuesday night.
Reese sank all four 3-pointers he took on a night the Red Raiders (8-7) shot 58.8 percent (30 of 51) from the floor. Crockett finished with 10 points and 10 rebounds as Texas Tech won its final nonconference game of the season. Mike Singletary scored 12.
Jay Threatt and Alibaba Odd scored 12 points each to lead the Hornets (4-8), who dropped their fifth in a row. Marques Oliver added 11, and Trevor Welcher had four steals.
The Red Raiders dominated inside with edges of 35-16 in rebounding and 44-26 in points in the paint.
