Verona, Italy (SportsNetwork.com) - Hellas Verona confirmed Friday that the club has secured the services of AS Roma's Marquinho on a loan deal for the remainder of the season.
The 27-year-old has been used sparingly by new Roma coach Rudi Garcia, and the move should see the Brazilian midfielder receive more playing time and improve his chances of making the nation's World Cup squad this summer.
Roma added Rafael Toloi on loan from Brazilian club San Paulo with the option to make the move permanent at the conclusion of the deal.
