Philadelphia, PA – Scott Hartnell scored with 0.9 seconds high 11-game winning streak, as the Philadelphia Flyers stormed back goal deficit in the third period to take down the Penguins, 3-2, on Sunday.
Danny Briere skated up the left wing and found Hartnell lurking in the slot and his wrister sailed past the glove of Marc-Andre Fleury, pulling the Flyers within three points of the Eastern-Conference leading New York Rangers, who were idle Sunday.
Ilya Bryzgalov stopped 38 shots, Kimmo Timonen posted a goal and an assist while Claude Giroux added two helpers for Philadelphia, which moved to 8-1-1 in March.
Craig Adams and Evgeni Malkin netted goals for the Penguins, who moved within a point of New York. Fleury made 24 saves in the loss.
