Hamburg tops Stuttgart for first win

Second-half goals from Jeffrey Bruma and 1.

Hamburg entered Friday's match having earned just one point from its first six games, and Stuttgart took the lead in the 18th minute when Martin Harnik found the lower-right corner of the net with a shot from the middle of the penalty area.

The visitors made the most of a corner kick chance early in the second half to level the contest as Bruma latched onto a cross from Gokhan Tore to head the ball past goalkeeper Sven Ulreich.

Tesche then secured all three points a little over 20 minutes from time as he collected the ball near the left edge of the box and drove the ball inside the far post.
