Memphis, TN (SportsNetwork.com) - Memphis Grizzlies forward Quincy Pondexter will be out indefinitely with a stress fracture in his right foot, the team said Monday.

Pondexter suffered the injury in the first half of Saturday's 108-82 loss to the Golden State Warriors and was diagnosed with a tarsal navicular stress fracture after undergoing an MRI on Monday morning.

Yahoo Sports reported he will likely miss the rest of the season.

The 25-year-old has appeared in 15 games this season, averaging 6.3 points, 1.7 rebounds, and 1.3 assists. He notched a career-high 22 points against Brooklyn on Nov. 30.

The Grizzlies signed Pondexter to a multi-year contract extension on Oct. 31. He has career averages of 4.5 points and 1.8 rebounds in 204 games with New Orleans and Memphis.
