Philadelphia Flyers forward Scott Hartnell has Star Game in Ottawa.

Hartnell is replacing Chicago Blackhawks captain Jonathan Toews, who was placed on injured reserve Tuesday with an upper-body ailment.

It has been a quite of string of days for the 29-year-old Hartnell. He is coming off a five-goal weekend that featured a natural hat trick Sunday against the Boston Bruins and led to him being named the NHL's Second Star of the Week on Monday.

Hartnell is pacing the Flyers this season with 25 goals -- five shy of his career high set in 2008-09 -- and a plus-18 rating, and ranks second in points with 44. He also leads the league with 13 power-play goals.
