Branden Grace closed with a 5-under 68 on Friday to earn a 3-stroke win at the Vodacom Origins Final.

Grace, who won for the third time on the Sunshine Tour, finished at 10-under- par 209. The South African won three times earlier this year on the European Tour, including at the Joburg Open, which was co-sanctioned by both tours.

He had two birdies and a bogey on the front nine. Grace birdied the 12th and 14th and was tied for the lead with Allan Versfeld at minus-8.

Grace made it two in a row with a birdie on 15, while Versfeld tripped to a bogey on the same hole. Armed with a 2-shot lead, Grace closed the tournament in style as he birdied the par-5 18th for the third straight day.

Grace's 68 was the low round of the day by three strokes and was one of just three sub-par rounds on a windy day at The Links at Fancourt.

Versfeld, the second-round leader, closed with a 75 to take second at minus-7.

Divan van den Heever struggled to a 77 to take third at 2-under-par 217. Vaughn Groenewald also shot 77 and ended alone in fourth at even-par 219.
