Christian Gimenez scored a pair of goals in the second half to help Cruz Azul rally for a 2-1 home win over San Luis.

Cruz Azul fell behind early in the second half to a goal from Santiago Trellez before Gimenez equalized with 35 minutes to play.

Gimenez then tallied his second goal of the contest in the 70th minute to give Cruz Azul four points from its first two games, while San Luis resides in the bottom half of the table.

America has won its first two games after the club downed Jaguares, 2-0, on Friday with second-half goals from Rubens Sambueza and Cristian Benitez, while the other match on Friday saw Santos topple Guadalajara, 2-0, as Oribe Morones netted a goal in each half.

Queretaro topped 10-man UNAM, 2-1, with second-half goals from Amaury Escoto and Gonzalo Pineda after Javier Granados put the visitors ahead with 10 men early in the second half.
