Mexico City, Mexico – Christian Gimenez scored a pair of goals in the second half to help Cruz Azul rally for a 2-1 home win over San Luis.
Cruz Azul fell behind early in the second half to a goal from Santiago Trellez before Gimenez equalized with 35 minutes to play.
Gimenez then tallied his second goal of the contest in the 70th minute to give Cruz Azul four points from its first two games, while San Luis resides in the bottom half of the table.
