Dave Gettleman hasn't shied away from the fact that he has essentially no interest in talking about contract extensions. He handles business quietly and behind closed door, something that has worked out just fine for the likes of Greg Olsen, Cam Newton and Thomas Davis.

Next up? Luke Kuechly. As for when Kuechly's extension come be coming, well, that's still very unclear. As David Newton of ESPN explains, Gettleman once again had no interest in talking about the possible extension.

"You know I'm not going to go there," Gettleman told ESPN Monday when asked if he has a timetable for Kuechly's extension. "You know I don't talk contracts."

Not even an idea? Maybe a guess at whether it would happen this offseason? Nope, nothing.

"They get done when they're supposed to get done," he said.

Well, there you have it. Kuechly's extension will get done when it's supposed to get done. It may be frustrating, but it's probably a pretty safe bet that Kuechly won't be playing anywhere other than Carolina anytime in the near future.
