Geale tops Albert to retain middleweight crown

Hobart, Australia – Daniel Geale retained his IBF middleweight title Wednesday with a unanimous decision against Eromosele Albert.

Geale, who took the crown from Sebastian Sylvester in May, won by scores of 119-109, 117-111 and 116-112 on the judges' cards.

It was the fifth straight win for Geale, who improved to 26-1 with 15 knockouts. Albert fell to 24-5-1.
