Phoenix, AZ – Danilo Gallinari scored a game-high 23 points 85 victory over the Phoenix Suns in each team's preseason finale.
Corey Brewer added 20 points off the bench, while Kosta Koufas recorded a double-double with 15 points and 11 boards for the Nuggets, who open their season on Monday at Dallas.
Jared Dudley paced the Suns with 17 points, Hakim Warrick had 15 and Shannon Brown added 14 in the loss. Markieff Morris rounded out the Suns' double digit scorers with 12 points.
Grant Hill and Steve Nash each had five points for Phoenix, which hosts New Orleans on Monday to start its campaign.
