Oscar Fraustro closed with a 1-under 71 in the final round Sunday to win the Dominican Republic Open by four strokes.

Fraustro finished his first Latinoamerica Tour win at 10-under-par 278. The Mexican birdied the second at Cana Bay Golf Club, but gave that stroke right back with a bogey on the third.

He faltered to a double-bogey on the par-4 fifth to slide to minus-7. Fraustro traded a birdie for a bogey from the seventh.

Fraustro parred the first six holes around the turn before closing with three consecutive birdies to seal the win.

Marcelo Rozo closed with a 68 to take second at minus-6. Ariel Canete (72) and Paul Imondi (75) shared third at 5-under-par 283.
