New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - Calgary Flames defenseman Mark Giordano was named the top player in the NHL's 'Three Stars' for the month of November.

Giordano led all defensemen in November with 16 points in 13 games for the surprising Flames, who own third place in the Pacific Division with a 15-8-2 record. His 25 points on the season lead all defensemen.

St. Louis Blues winger Vladimir Tarasenko was named the Second Star. In 15 November contests, Tarasenko totaled 10 goals and seven assists. He scored goals in the first four games of the month.

Nashville Predators goalie Pekka Rinne was awarded the Third Star with an outstanding month for the Central Division-leading Predators. His 10 wins led the league, and his goals-against average of 1.70 and save percentage of .938 both ranked in the top five.
