Flames continue domination of Avalanche

Calgary, AB – Olli Jokinen scored a tiebreaking goal with 2 win at the Saddledome.

Lee Stempniak and Curtis Glencross also scored in the third while Colorado forward T.J. Galiardi served a double-minor for high-sticking.

Miikka Kiprusoff made just 16 saves for Calgary, which has won the first four meetings with Colorado this season and nine straight overall. The Flames have outscored the Avalanche 36-16 since a 6-5 loss on October 28, 2010.

Making his first start since November 20, Jean-Sebastien Giguere stopped 32 shots for the Avalanche, who have gone 0-6-1 in their last seven road games after opening the season a franchise-best 6-0-0 as the visiting club.
