JAKARTA, Indonesia --
Indonesian authorities denied entry to five Roma players who arrived without visas.
Seydou Doumbia, Gervinho, Victor Ibarbo, Adem Ljajic, and Antonio Sanabria were not allowed to proceed with their teammates through customs on arrival on Friday at Jakarta's Soekarno-Hatta International Airport.
The Immigration Department director for investigation and prosecution, Mirza Iskandar, confirmed it on Saturday.
The club arrived in Indonesia for the first time from Australia, where it took part in the International Champions Cup.
Club chief executive Italo Zanzi expressed disappointment over the incident.
