Brisbane, Australia (SportsNetwork.com) - Top-seeded Roger Federer will play for the title at the season-opening Brisbane International after beating Bulgaria's Grigor Dimitrov in Saturday's semifinals.
Federer rolled to a 6-2, 6-2 win over the fourth-seeded Dimitrov in 53 minutes.
The Swiss star, who lost to Lleyton Hewitt in last year's title match, will face third-seeded Milos Raonic of Canada in Sunday's final.
Raonic knocked off Japan's Kei Nishikori in 2 1/2 hours after all three of their sets were settled 7-4 in a tiebreaker.
Federer, 33, is chasing his 83rd career title after winning five times last season.
Raonic won the last two sets against the second-seeded Nishikori and will be trying to win his seventh career title. He is 6-7 in championship matches and 1-7 all-time against Federer.
Brisbane serves as a tune-up for the Australian Open, which will begin Jan. 19 in Melbourne.
