Eibar, Spain (SportsNetwork.com) - Eibar scored three times in the opening 30 minutes en route to a 5-2 home victory over Almeria on Monday, moving the club into the top half of the league.

Federico Piovaccari, Saul Perez and Raul Albentosa each found the net for Eibar to help the side jump out to a 3-0 lead, while Raul Navas and Ander Capa added second-half tallies for the hosts, who have won three of their last five games.

Fernando Soriano and Edgar Mendez scored for Almeria, which has managed to collect just one point from the last seven matches, leaving the club above the relegation places on goal difference.

Piovaccari helped Eibar get off to a great start as he found room inside the penalty area to drive the ball into the bottom right corner less than three minutes into the contest.

Mikel Arruabarrena set up the second tally with a nice ball from the left wing that allowed Perez to beat goalkeeper Martinez Ruben, doubling the advantage.

Perez then turned provider on the half-hour when he his corner kick was nodded home at close range by Albentosa.

Soriano managed to pull a goal back for Almeria before the break, but another corner kick proved costly for the visitors as they failed to clear the cross, allowing Navas to make it 4-1.

Eibar's lead was stretched to 5-1 in the 74th thanks to a goal from Capa, while Mendez scored a consolation goal three minutes later.

Monday's other fixture saw Rafael Martins score the equalizer in the 71st minute for Levante in a 1-1 draw with Getafe, which opened the scoring in the 56th through Abdoul Yoda.
