Flowery Branch, GA (SportsNetwork.com) - The Atlanta Falcons have agreed to terms with linebackers Brooks Reed and Justin Durant, offensive lineman Mike Person and running back Antone Smith.

"We are excited about adding these guys to our team," said Falcons coach Dan Quinn. "We believe that they all possess skill sets that fit our schemes and will be pieces to what we are putting together. This is just the first step in putting our roster together and I am fired up about getting to connect and work with all of our guys come April 6."

Reed was originally selected by the Houston Texans in the second round of the 2011 NFL Draft. He recorded 169 tackles, 14 1/2 sacks and one interception in 60 games with the Texans.

Last season, Durant started six games for the Dallas Cowboys before suffering an injury in Week 8. The 29-year-old has 516 tackles, 3 1/2 sacks and three interceptions in 95 career games with the Jaguars, Lions and Cowboys.

Person has spent time with the 49ers, Colts, Seahawks and Rams. The 26-year- old has played in 17 games in his career, including all 16 games last season.
