Atlanta Falcons defensive end John Abraham was arrested Monday night.
According to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Abraham was charged with obstruction of police and obstruction of fire fighters.
Officers responded to a call regarding a woman threatening to jump from a building. Abraham refused to leave the scene after entering an area restricted by crime-scene tape, according to the report.
The charges are misdemeanors and Abraham was booked at the Fulton County Jail.
"We are aware of the news regarding John Abraham. We are in the process of gathering more information and we will have no further comment at this time," the Falcons said in a statement.
The Falcons, who are off to a 3-0 start, are still dealing with running back Michael Turner's arrest for DUI and speeding, which took place last week.
