Ethier has knee surgery

Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Andre Ethier ending arthroscopic surgery on his right knee Wednesday.

The procedure, which was performed by Dr. Neal ElAttrache, was to clean up the wear and tear behind the kneecap.

Ethier, who is expected to start rehabilitation within a week in Arizona, put together a 30-game hitting streak early this season. In 135 games, he hit .292 with a .368 on-base percentage, 11 homers and 62 RBI.
