Dwight Freeney isn't ready to call it a career, and he wants NFL teams to know it.
Appearing on "SportsCenter" on Thursday morning, Freeney campaigned for a 15th season in the league. He said the Arizona Cardinals, with whom he played in 2015, would be his first choice. But they aren't the 36-year-old defensive end's only choice.
"If it doesn't work out here, it could be anywhere," Freeney said. "It just depends. It has to be a winning team. I'm used to winning."
In just 11 games last season, Freeney still managed a team-high eight sacks.
Over his 14 NFL seasons -- 11 with the Indianapolis Colts, two with the San Diego Chargers and one with the Cardinals -- Freeney has 119.5 sacks. He is a seven-time Pro Bowler.
