Dusseldorf, Germany – Dusseldorf signed Japanese forward Genki Omae from J-League side Shimizu S-Pulse on Thursday.
The 22-year-old Omae will join the Bundesliga side in January, ending his stay with Shimizu S-Pulse, who he debuted for in 2008. Omae signed a contract with Dusseldorf through June 2015.
Omae had 13 goals in 34 matches this season for Shimizu S-Pulse.
