Dunfermline unveiled a new signing Thursday after goalkeeper Bernardo Dominguez Fernandez put pen to paper on a deal with the Pars. Terms of the signing were not disclosed.

Fernandez, who previously enjoyed stints at Alaves, Recreativo and Huesca, becomes the first Dunfermline signing under the guidance of Jim Jefferies after he replaced Jim McIntyre as manager.

The 32-year-old Spaniard will have his work cut out for him as Dunfermline finds itself at the cellar of the Scottish Premier League, six points shy of second-from-bottom Hibernian with six matches remaining.
