Durham, NC – Duke guard Chloe Wells will miss the rest of the season due to violation of university policy.
Wells will not be enrolled at Duke for the spring 2012 semester.
She had started the first 10 games for the Blue Devils this season, averaging 10.4 points, 4.0 assists, 3.6 steals and 2.1 rebounds. Wells recorded double- figures in eight contests.
"We love Chloe and she is a valuable member of the Duke women's basketball family," said head coach Joanne P. McCallie. "I look forward to her returning to full eligibility for the 2012-13 campaign."
