Dortmund, Germany – Borussia Dortmund are set to sign St. Etienne striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, the French club revealed Thursday.
"He has been given permission to attend the medical examination," St. Etienne club president Roland Romeyer said. "The contract details and the financial plan are still to be clarified but I have no doubt that we will reach an agreement."
The 24-year-old Gabon international scored 19 goals and added 14 assists to help St. Etienne finish fifth in Ligue 1 last season.
Aubameyang is expected to sign a five-year deal worth approximately $17 million.
