Davie, FL – The Miami Dolphins signed defensive end Antwan Applewhite on Thursday.
Applewhite, 27, has totaled 6 1/2 sacks and 99 tackles in 48 career games with San Diego and Carolina.
The San Diego State product originally signed with the Chargers after not being selected in the 2007 NFL Draft.
