Los Angeles, CA – Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Ted Lilly will reportedly miss his scheduled start on Tuesday against the Brewers.
The team has not released any information on whether Lilly is injured or not, but the Los Angeles Times is reporting that Lilly will not pitch and that the Nathan Eovaldi has been called up from Double-A Chattanooga to take the mound.
Lilly got off to a 5-0 start after being undefeated through his first seven games of the season, but he was torched for eight runs on nine hits in just 3 1/3 innings in Arizona last Wednesday to suffer his first loss.
The 36-year-old began the season on the disabled list with a strained neck.
Eovaldi played in 10 games for the Dodgers last season and went 1-2 with a 3.63 earned run average.
