The Los Angeles Dodgers have activated pitcher Ted Lilly from the 15-day disabled list.

The 37-year-old Lilly landed on the DL, retroactively to April 30, with a right rib cage strain. He has made two starts for the Dodgers in 2013 after opening the season on the DL while recovering from left shoulder labrum surgery.

To make room for the veteran left-hander, the Dodgers optioned Matt Magill to Triple-A Albuquerque. The 23-year-old righty, in his first action at the big league level, did not record a decision in four starts for Los Angeles.
