Veteran NFL linebacker Dhani Jones has called it a career.

The 11-year veteran made the announcement in a video on his personal website.

"There comes a point in every man's life when he's got to make that transition, turn the page and move on to the next chapter," said Jones.

He then proceeded to thank his family, friends, fans and the teams that he played for.

Jones recorded 889 tackles, 9 1/2 sacks and five interceptions in 157 career games played with the Giants, Eagles and Bengals. He started all 16 games for the Bengals in 2010.
