Keisha Hampton and Taylor Pikes each scored 16 points and No. 13 DePaul beat Seton Hall 77-59 on Saturday to improve to 6-0 in the Big East for first time ever.

Anna Martin added 12 for the Blue Demons (19-2, 6-0 Big East), who have won 16 of their last 17 games.

The Blue Demons never trailed and led by as many as 38 points in the second before the Pirates (7-12, 0-6) trimmed the margin.

Kandice Green scored 20 points for Seton Hall while Kashmere Joseph added 12.

DePaul made eight of its first 12 shots as it opened a 21-6 lead, including 10 off Seton Hall turnovers.

Hampton's jumper made it 31-9 and the Blue Demons led 40-9 before the Pirates finally hit double digits on Alexandra Maseko's two free throws.

Hampton became the first DePaul player in double figures at 5:32 and had 13 points by halftime as the Blue Demons opened a 50-22 lead, it's second largest of the season at intermission.

Pikes added 10 first half points as DePaul shot 16 of 31 (51.6 percent). Seton Hall made just 6 of 27 for 22.2 percent, it's second lowest of the season.

The Blue Demon lead reached 67-29 on Katherine Harry's jumper with 11:36 to play.

DePaul remains one-half game behind league-leading Connecticut. The Blue Demons play the Huskies on Feb. 5 on the road.
