Jessica Davenport had 15 points, seven rebounds and four blocks to lead the Indiana Fever over the Seattle Storm 78-61 on Tuesday night.

Tamika Catchings added 11 points, six rebounds and four steals for the Fever (8-3), who won their fifth straight game. Indiana reserves Shannon Bobbitt and Shavonte Zellous chipped in eight points apiece.

Sue Bird scored 21 points and Swin Cash had 13 for the Storm.

The Fever closed the first half on an 11-2 run before a third-quarter lull. They allowed Seattle to pull within four points in the fourth before Indiana went on a 7-2 run to pull away.

The Fever played without starting guard Briann January, who suffered a season-ending ACL injury in Indiana's 91-85 win over Phoenix on June 28.
