Chicago, IL (SportsNetwork.com) - The Chicago Cubs have signed first-round draft pick Kyle Schwarber.
The catcher/outfielder was selected fourth overall by the Cubs in the first round last week.
The 21-year-old Schwarber batted .341 with 40 home runs, 149 RBI, 41 doubles, 182 runs scored and 23 stolen bases in 180 games over his three seasons at Indiana.
Schwarber, a left-handed hitter, batted .358 with 14 home runs, 48 RBI, 16 doubles, 66 runs scored and 10 stolen bases for the Hoosiers in 2014.
