Chicago Cubs center fielder Brett Jackson left Friday's game against the Pittsburgh Pirates after crashing into the wall.

With two outs in the sixth, Andrew McCutchen hit a long fly ball to center that Jackson tracked down.

As he made the catch, he slammed into the fence in front of the bullpen and crashed to the ground. He was attended to by teammates and staff before walking off the field under his own power.

He was replaced in the lineup by Tony Campana and it was later announced that he had a bruised left knee.

On the season, Jackson is batting .191 with four homers and eight RBI in 31 games.
