Lake Buena Vista, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - Alabama's Amari Cooper has been named the 2014 Fred Biletnikoff Award winner, given to the country's top wide receiver.

Cooper, a junior, had an SEC-record 115 catches for a national-best 1,656 yards and 14 touchdowns in 13 games this season. He had more than 200 yards in three games this season.

Cooper is the first Alabama player and second SEC receiver to win the award, joining LSU's Josh Reed in 2001.

The other finalists were Colorado State's Rashard Higgins and West Virginia's Kevin White.

Higgins caught 89 passes for 1,640 yards and 17 touchdowns, while White had 102 receptions for 1,318 yards with nine scores.
