FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) Arkansas has good reason to be confident when it hosts No. 19 LSU on Saturday, especially after defeating the Tigers in each of the last two seasons.
The Razorbacks (6-3, 2-3 Southeastern Conference) rebounded from a blowout loss to Auburn with a 31-10 win over Florida a week ago, keeping their hopes alive of improving their win total for a fourth straight season under coach Bret Bielema.
Arkansas won eight games last season, including its second straight victory over LSU (5-3, 3-2).
The Tigers, meanwhile, lost for the first time in four games under interim coach Ed Orgeron last week against No. 1 Alabama, and they are trying to avoid dropping three straight to the Razorbacks for the first time since 1927-29.
