New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - The National Basketball Association fined Los Angeles Clippers forward Matt Barnes $25,000 Saturday for kicking a water bottle into the stands and directing profane language at fans on Friday night at Washington.
Barnes kicked the bottle with 2:09 left in the fourth quarter of the Clippers' 104-96 loss, which broke LA's nine-game winning streak.
Barnes, who is averaging 8.7 points this season, started Saturday's contest at Milwaukee.
