Bill Clark had 24 points, nine rebounds and two steals as Duquesne cruised past St. Joseph's, 75-63, in front of 3,662 fans on Wednesday night in the Atlantic 10 Conference opener for both teams.

Damian Saunders had 17 points and seven rebounds for the Dukes (8-5, 1-0), who won their third straight overall, and first at St. Joe's since Feb. 15, 1992. The Dukes led by as many as 26 in the second half.

Langston Galloway had 20 points for the Hawks (5-9, 0-1), who had four players in double digits. But they could not overcome 19 turnovers in losing for the seventh time in nine games.
