City, Sevilla agree to Navas deal

Sevilla revealed Tuesday that the club has accepted an offer from Manchester City for the sale of Jesus Navas.

"Jesus Navas will leave Sevilla to go to Manchester City," said a statement on the club's website. "On Monday, Sevilla accepted the offer of the English club, bearing in mind the wishes of the player, who will have to pass a medical."

Navas, 27, has represented the Spanish national team 23 times and has amassed 393 appearances for Sevilla.

Financial details of the switch were not confirmed, but the transfer fee is believed to be in the region of $36 million.
