The Chicago Fire loaned forward Orr Barouch to Israeli side Bnei Yehuda Tel Aviv FC on Thursday.

Israeli-born Barouch, 20, joined Chicago in March 2011 on loan from Tigres in Mexico. He had two goals and two assists last year in 28 games, and joined the Fire on a permanent deal in December. He made nine appearances this season.

"This loan provides Orr with an opportunity to earn consistent playing time," said Fire coach Frank Klopas. "Orr was interested in playing in Israel and Bnei Yehuda was a good fit. We look forward to monitoring Orr's progress and development while he is playing in Israel."

Barouch has played for Israel at the Under-21 level, scoring twice in five matches.

Per club and MLS policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
