SAN DIEGO – The San Diego Chargers have signed rookie free-agent safety Tony Burnett of Southern California and waived rookie quarterback Mark Hermann.
The Chargers also waived-injured cornerback Kenny Okoro. If Okoro clears waivers, he will be placed on injured reserve.
Burnett was an honorable mention all-Pac-12 pick as a senior in 2012 after recording 28 tackles and an interception.
Hermann was an undrafted rookie from Division III Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
The Chargers announced the moves on Tuesday.
