San Diego, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - The San Diego Chargers agreed to a two- year contract with veteran backup quarterback Kellen Clemens on Thursday.

Clemens appeared in 10 games with nine starts for the St. Louis Rams in 2013 after Sam Bradford was lost for the year. He completed 142-of-242 passes for 1,673 yards, eight touchdowns and seven interceptions.

The 30-year-old spent the first five seasons of his career with the New York Jets.

In 40 career games with 21 starts, Clemens has completed 338-of-620 passes for 3,944 yards, 15 touchdowns and 20 interceptions.
