Boston Celtics point guard Rajon Rondo is ready to return to the court on Friday night, unless he has any setbacks over the next day.

Celtics general manager Danny Ainge and coach Brad Stevens said Thursday that the four-time All-Star has passed all of his tests. Rondo hasn't played since rupturing his anterior cruciate ligament on Jan. 25, 2013.

Rondo was at practice with the Celtics on Thursday morning, but he did not speak with reporters.

Stevens says he's looking forward to seeing what Rondo can do in a game.
