Motherwell, Scotland (SportsNetwork.com) - Celtic scored four second-half goals en route to a 5-0 drubbing of Motherwell at Fir Park on Friday.

The breakthrough came in the 44th minute thanks to Kris Commons, but the Hoops managed to pad their lead with a strong showing after the halftime interval.

Efe Ambrose doubled Celtic's lead in the 53rd minute while Commons and Anthony Stokes extended it with goals two minutes apart. Bahrudin Atajic tacked on a late goal for the visitors in stoppage time, his first Scottish Premier League goal of the campaign.

Celtic improves to 36 points on the season to increase its lead on second- place Inverness, bringing the club 11 points clear of Motherwell.
