NEW YORK – The CBS debut broadcast of "Thursday Night Football" had an overnight household rating of 13.7 and an audience share of 23 for the entire broadcast.
The numbers for the Pittsburgh-Baltimore game from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. ET averaged a prime-time household rating of 12.9 and a 22 share. That's higher than CBS's prime-time programming of a year ago (4.1/7) that included the "Big Bang Theory," ''CBS Fall Preview Show," ''Big Brother," and "Elementary."
The football debut was CBS's best prime-time Thursday delivery since May 18, 2006.
