(SportsNetwork.com) - The Arizona Cardinals will have Jay Feely back for the 2014 season, with the veteran kicker agreeing to a contract just prior to Tuesday's start of free agency.

The Cardinals have yet to formally announce the deal, which the Arizona Republic reported to be for one year, but Feely confirmed the signing Monday on his Twitter account.

"Happy to announce I am signed back with the @AZCardinals," Feely tweeted. "I never wanted to play with different teammates or for another organization."

Feely will be entering his 14th NFL season and fifth in Arizona. The 37-year- old finished the 2013 campaign with 127 points, the third-highest total of his career, after going 30-of-36 on field goal attempts and making all 37 of his point-after tries.

Among active kickers, Feely ranks fifth overall with 329 field goals made in 398 attempts, an 82.7 percent success rate.
