Monterrey, Mexico – Ariel Canete carded a 4-under 68 on Sunday to win the TransAmerican Power Products Open by two shots.
Canete finished at 18-under-par 270 at La Herradura Golf Club.
The Argentine had an eagle and eight pars on the front nine. After birdies at 11 and 13, Canete stood at 18-under. He tripped to a bogey on 17, but closed the tournament in style with a birdie at the last.
Tommy Cocha, who won the tour's inaugural event last week, closed with a 67 to grab second place at minus-16.
Cody Slover managed a 3-under 69 to tie for third place at 15-under-par 273. He was joined there Nicolas Geyger and Armando Favela, who both closed with 3- under 69s.
