The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have signed safety Troy Nolan.

The 26-year-old Arizona State product spent 2012 with Miami, Houston and Chicago. He appeared in eight games overall and started one, combining for six tackles.

Nolan played his first two NFL seasons with the Texans, who selected him in the seventh round of the 2009 draft. He started six of the 30 games he played over those two years, notching each of his three career interceptions in 2010.

The Bucs also waived guard Jeff Olson and activated defensive end Markus White from the physically unable to perform list.
