The Milwaukee Bucks have signed first round draft pick John Henson to a multi-year contract, general manager John Hammond announced on Tuesday.

Henson was drafted 14th overall last month after averaging 13.7 points and 9.9 rebounds in his third season at North Carolina. He is the all-time leader in blocks per game at the ACC powerhouse, averaging 2.56 in 109 contests.

The two-time conference Defensive Player of the Year and a first-team All-ACC selections last season will join the Bucks for the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas.
